ARGENTINA TOOK PART IN THE LIBERTARTE FESTIVAL

Outstanding musicians from our country and Latin America participated in the LiberArte Festival, which on September 26 and 27 presented concerts in the city of Bonn.

The festival, which featured artists from Germany, Argentina, Austria, Denmark, China and other countries, commemorated the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation from National Socialism in Europe, and was held in a double event at the Aula Magna of the University of Bonn during the month of September and the Avenida Theater of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in November.

During the first day in the German city, the repertoire included Misatango by the Argentine composer and pianist Martín Palmeri, together with the bandoneonist Gilberto Pereyra, the soprano Tinjao Yin, the Argentine conductor Pablo Quinteros, the Beethoven Orchestra and the Choir of the International Festival LiberArte 2025.

Afterwards, they performed with the prestigious Argentine mezzo-soprano Lupe Larzábal the work Aeneis, by José Luis Larzábal.

On the second day, members of the Beethoven Orchestra, the Festival Choir and pianists Peter Bortfeldt and Annette Willer-Krebel, together with baritone Aris Argiris, performed Johannes Brahms' Schicksalslied and Gustav Mahler's Kindertotenlieder.

We would especially like to highlight the work of LiberArte Bonn e.V., the Ibero Club Bonn e.V. and all the musicians who contributed with their art to realize this heartfelt tribute as a bridge of memory.
