On Tuesday 9 September we celebrated a day of music, dance, literature and Argentine culture at the Consulate.
Firstly, we enjoyed the concert of the guitar and bandoneon duo Los Suplentes, led by Hugo Satorre and Emiliano Faryna, who performed the best of tango and national folklore.
Afterwards, the Rheinland Argentinean Centre made a presentation of the activities developed during 2025 and the next initiatives that will be carried out in the city of Düsseldorf for the Argentinean community.
Finally, we went on a literary journey with Gabriel Torem with the presentation of his novel Atamisqui, written in Quichua and translated into Spanish, which explores the stories, myths and customs of Santiago del Estero. This novel has received the Creación grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes.
Special thanks to Hugo, Emiliano, Gabriel, and the institutions Centro Argentino Rheinland, Argentinische Folklore e.V. and Don Tango Club for joining us in the closing of the summer concert season 2025.
