We are pleased to share some photos from the celebrations marking the 215th anniversary of the May Revolution at the Consulate last Saturday, May 24.

During the celebrations, the exhibition “Expresiones argentinas” (Argentine Expressions) was inaugurated, reflecting the natural and human diversity of our country. The Argentine artists who participated in this exhibition are Fanny de Weinberg (Cologne), Mariela Gómez Erro (Frankfurt), Ileana Hochmann (Buenos Aires), Celeste Palacios (Cologne), Virginia Reiner (Cologne), Rita Simoni (Buenos Aires), and Jo Watson (Berlin).

We also enjoyed live concerts by the choir Voces de las Américas, directed by Francisco Benavídez (Bonn), and the trio Café Acústico (Cologne), accompanied by Argentine pianist Sebastián Rodríguez.

We would like to thank the more than 200 people who attended the celebration and Argentinische Folklore e.V. for their cooperation in organizing this wonderful event.
