On Monday, May 26, we attended a performance of María de Buenos Aires, Astor Piazzola's opera with libretto by Horacio Ferrer, at the Cologne Opera House.

This work, which combines traditional elements of tango with other musical genres, poetry, and symbolic theater, is under the musical direction of Natalia Salinas, the choreographic direction of Teresa Rotemberg, and features the participation of outstanding actors, musicians, and dancers.

We congratulate the entire artistic and technical team of the work for their passion and moving interpretation of this very Argentine opera.
